WHO WE ARE

Welcome to the 4 the Heroes Foundation. It is our mission to Honor the brave men and women who protect our great Country and its freedoms. We are committed to making sure those who paid the ultimate price must Never Be Forgotten and we pledge to assist those who have been wounded with their recovery.

We will provide unique recovery services to those who are healing through our Woods and Water program. The vision of this program is to provide a therapeutic outdoor experience while gaining confidence and fellowship with others who have had similar experiences.

Our foundation is also dedicated to helping family members left behind with educational assistance and wellness opportunities. Families of a lost hero may benefit from financial assistance and our youth scholarship program. This program helps families stabilize through education and weekend retreats.

The Foundation will also continue to support and enhance the Never Forgotten Jersey Awareness initiative started by Bombers Fastpitch. This program has honored over 1000 soldiers as well as police and fire personnel. Players wear the name of a fallen or wounded hero on the back of their jersey during their playing season and then hold a ceremony to present the jersey to the heroes’ family. This program has expanded to include college teams as well as youth teams in multiple states.

Through our Woods and Water program, we are able to provide a therapeutic outdoor experience for our recovering heroes. Participants gain confidence and learn new skills and also benefit from fellowship with others who have had similar experiences.

Awareness Jersey Program

Our Never Forgotten Jersey initiative was started by the Bombers Fastpitch Organization. Since 2013 this program has honored over 1000 soldiers as well as police and fire personnel. Players wear the name of a fallen hero on the back of their jersey during their playing season and then hold a ceremony to present the jersey to the heroes’ family. This program has expanded to include college teams as well as youth teams in multiple states. Teams interested in participating in this program can contact John Bacon for more information here.
